School Attendance

"Regular, on time attendance is important."
    Yes - 100%         No - 0%
These are the results reflected on the Bellamy Parent School Climate Survey in Spring, 1998. It was the only item on which 100% of our parents agreed. Thanks to all of you who help children attend school every day (unless ill). and have them here on time.

Grade Level Expectations

Each grade level has a set of expectations in reading, writing and mathematics which students must master in order to program towards Benchmarks and be promoted to the next grade. Please communicate regularly with your child's teacher to stay Informed of your child's progress. We want every child to succeed!

In-School Suspension!
Bellamy had 79 out-of-school suspensions during the 1997-98 school year. To keep many of these children in school and learning, an In-School Suspension program will be available at Bellamy beginning October 5. Mrs. Barbara Plourde has been hired to assist ... Welcome Mm Plourde! Our goal is to help students develop the self discipline needed to function appropriately in the classroom. That's where all of our Bobcats belong!

Thanks for your wonderful support and involvement in your child's education!
